Dear Constituent,
I hope your summer is going well. This month I just wanted to give you an update
on what our government's been doing to relieve your tax burden.
We've reduced the income tax for
low-income Canadians, we've introduced pension income splitting
for seniors, and of course, we've lowered the GST for everyone.
I've also included some information below if you're interested,
about even more things our Conservative government's done to
reduce taxes.

Reducing
your Taxes
Tax Back Guarantee:
Our Conservative government's Tax Back Guarantee is a legislated commitment to
dedicate all interest savings from federal debt reduction each year to income
tax relief. It makes every Canadian benefit directly from federal debt reduction.

Tax-Free Savings Account:
Our Conservative government has introduced a new Tax-Free Savings Account - the
single most important personal savings vehicle since the RRSP. You'll be able
to set money aside, watch it grow, and use it for any purpose, all tax-free.

Child Tax Credit:
Last year our government introduced a new Child Tax Credit for parents. This
credit will provide up to $306 in tax relief per child for families this year.
