-Staying Connected-
  July 2010

Dear Constituent,

At the end of June, the Bank of Canada reported that our economy has stabilized after seven consecutive months of growth. Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Economic Action Plan is working.

We've created 300,000 new jobs since last July with our Conservative government's Economic Action Plan.

There are still some Economic Action Plan programs that might be available to you or someone you know. For example, the Apprenticeship Completion Grant - a $2,000 cash grant to anyone who has completed a Red Seal apprenticeship after January 2009.

It's all part of the more complete package of tax relief, helping the unemployed get back on their feet, building infrastructure and stimulating construction. I've included more information about these initiatives below as well as links to even more information if you're interested.

And, if you haven't had the chance yet, you can still return your Proud to be Canadian questionnaire. With enough returns, it is my hope that we can show the rest of Canada that Northumberland-Quinte West is the most patriotic part of Canada!"

As always, please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions or need to share your thoughts or concerns.

Best Regards,

- Rick
