Throne Speech and Budget 2010 March 2010

Dear Constituent,

On March 3rd 2010 Michaëlle Jean, the Governor General of Canada, gave her throne speech to mark the opening of the 3rd session of the 40th parliament. Her speech gave note of our past accomplishments and indicated the future goals and direction of our Government.

On March 4th 2010 Budget 2010 was introduced in the House of Commons. This jobs and growth budget represents a commitment to Canadians to continue with the Economic Action Plan, strengthen our economy, and return fiscal balance.

I've included more information about the throne speech and budget 2010 below.

I hope you'll never hesitate to get in touch with me at any time to share your thoughts.

Best regards,

- Rick
